Mandriva Provides an Educational Solution for Schools and OEMs

Mandriva has announced on January 18th a new OEM distribution, designed for Intel ClassMate PC and several others educational netbooks, which was integrated with Mandriva-Mythware Educational Solution educational application.

Mandriva-Mythware Educational Solution is a distribution based on the same kernel as its famous big brother, Mandriva Linux. It's a tool designed to be used as a teaching instrument that will transform lessons in interactive experiences, and at the same time show the students the advantages of using a Mandriva Linux operating system.
"Mandriva's partnership with a growing Educational application provider like Mythware is a demonstration of the global appeal for the Mandriva Linux operating system. This new distribution from Mandriva will also focus on sharing the learning material like screen broadcast, student demonstration, movie net, group teaching, group chat, screen record & playback and there is even a class management with a remote monitor and control, with a silence on/off option, class model and remote command management.

By default in windows, the document that we open or edit will be saved in the My Recent Documents historinya. If you want to delete history automatically which is when you log off or when the computer is turned off do the following:

     * 1. Click Start -> Run -> type regedit -> click OK
     * 2. In Registry Editor go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer
     * 3. In the right pane: right-click an empty area -> click New -> DWORD value, then give it a name: ClearRecentDocsOnExit

*Secara default di windows, dokumen yang telah kita buka atau edit akan tersimpan historinya di My Recent Documents. Kalau anda ingin menghapus history tersebut secara otomatis yaitu ketika anda log off atau ketika komputer dimatikan caranya sebagai berikut :

    * 1. Klik Start -->RUN --> ketik regedit --> klik OK
    * 2. Pada Registry Editor masuk ke :  HKEY_Current_User\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
    * 3. Di jendela sebelah kanan : klik kanan di area kosong-->klik new--> DWORD value, kemudian beri nama : ClearRecentDocsOnExit *

 4. Double click DWORD ClearRecentDocsOnExit, the data value to change the numbers from 0 to 1
-> click OK -> exit * 4. Dobel klik DWORD ClearRecentDocsOnExit, pada value data ubah angka 0 menjadi 1
--> klik OK --> exit *

To normalize again, do the back step 1, 2, and 4. In step 4 to return the data value from 1 to 0. *Untuk menormalkan kembali, lakukan kembali langkah 1, 2, dan 4. Pada langkah 4 kembalikan value data dari 1 menjadi 0.*
